The 14-Series Casting Resins are two-part, polyurethane systems formulated specifically for applications where optical clarity is required.

Use Poly-Optic plastics for casting decorative objects, production parts, models and more.

Castings are clear like water; however, PolyColor dyes can be added to obtain clear, colored castings. Poly-Optic systems, with low viscosities and long pot-lives, provide for easy mixing, excellent detail penetration, and easy degassing, through vacuum or pressure casting techniques, for bubble-free castings.

14-70 series is a firm rubber. Blend 1410 and 14-70 to achieve any hardness between Shore D85 and Shore A70.

Solvent Thinner

Sculpt Nouveau Solvent Thinner has no VOC’s and is a very effective replacement for Xylene. It may be used to thin all solvent products. For best results when spraying a solvent lacquer, thin with up to 20% Sculpt Nouveau Solvent Thinner.

Polyethylene Fibres are used to thicken polyurethane rubbers and plastics for making brushed moulds and shells. Turns a pourable mould rubber or plastic into a brushable system with any level of thickening desired. Thickened plastics can be used to create thin, lightweight, laid-up castings

You Can add enough for your desired level of thickness. A 5% mix by total weight of mixed liquids will give a highly thixotropic mix.
