An important part is of the collaborative outcome is the production of the Collective Research Catalogue. something that above all unites all of our efforts, both together and individually we are exploring the research (images, quotes, videos’ etc.) that have universally contributed to our practise.
To do this we are binding a book (100 pages, dedicating 16 pages to each group member, incl. Content page, in Alphabetical order).
We are taking advantage of the schools facilities , using the Digital Print Studio to bind the books. As a result of the weekend preceding Monday 30th we have individually mocked-up (on Word) 16 dedicated pages which we will combine in the research dedicated catalogue
My pages remain minimal, making proper references, being a mixtures of images, quotes and videos that have contributed to my practise this year. With Reference to my own practise this term, as well as the work of John Baldessari, Matt Collishaw, Chuck Close and books such as The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction, The Photographic Image in the Digital Age and Uncreative Writing, I really feel that the slides are an indication of the research that has taken place throughout the term.
Below are examples of the slides:
